How are bet returns calculated?
Return = stake × decimal odds. For an accumulator the odds of every leg are multiplied together, so €10 on 2.50 and 1.80 returns €45 if both win. Profit is the return minus your total stake.
How does an each way bet work?
An each way bet is two bets of the same stake: one to win and one to place, so €10 each way costs €20. The place part is paid at a fraction of the odds — 1/4 of 10/1 is 5/2 (3.50). If a selection only places, the win part loses but the place part still pays, and in an each way acca it rolls on at place odds.
What happens to void legs?
A void selection (non-runner, postponed or cancelled event) counts as odds of 1.00: the stake carries on to the other legs, so a treble with one void leg is settled as a double. A void single returns your stake.
