How are parlay odds calculated?

Each American line is turned into decimal odds first: +150 becomes 2.50 and −110 becomes 1.91. The decimals are multiplied and converted back, so a −110 and +150 parlay is about 4.77, or +377. A $100 bet pays $477.27.

Why does every leg have to win?

A parlay only pays if every leg hits; one loss and the whole ticket loses. Two −110 legs look safe on their own, but together the odds imply they both hit only about 27% of the time.

What happens if a leg pushes?

If a leg pushes (a tie on the spread or total) or is voided, most sportsbooks drop it and pay the parlay on the remaining legs at lower odds, so a three-leg parlay becomes a two-leg one. Remove that leg above to see the new payout, and check your sportsbook’s rules.
